1. DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes, we deliver to all hotels, apartments and private houses in the Vancouver area. Once your order is confirmed, we arrange a suitable delivery time with the concierge, property manager, or even Grandma. Our delivery schedule is quite flexible, as we understand that personal schedules vary. Our fee of $15 includes delivery, equipment set up and dressing, and return pick up in the Vancouver area. Please contact us for delivery fees to areas outside of Vancouver city.
2. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that plans change, and we try to be as accommodating as possible. We do however require a cancellation notice of 48-hour in regular season and 7 days in peak season*. Orders cancelled within 48 hours in regular season and within 7 days in peak season will be charged at 50% of order plus delivery costs. * Peak season includes all major holidays such as Spring break, Summer, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years Eve.
3. IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER?
Yes, a $50.00 minimum order is required (plus delivery).
4. HOW SAFE IS THE EQUIPMENT?
All of our products are purchased brand new within Canada and comply with Canadian Safety Standards. Our selection of equipment is based on the recommendation of the Canadian Consumer Product Safety Bureau, and we are kept up to date with all Canadian recalls on the consumer reports website. As a company policy, we also safety inspect all of our equipment prior to each delivery.
5. CAN I RENT A CAR SEAT FROM A CAR RENTAL COMPANY?
By all means. But keep in mind that car rental companies are in the business of renting cars, whereas Petite Passengers is in the business of renting baby equipment. We have heard numerous horror stories of car rental companies supplying car seats that were out-dated, over used, covered in unidentifiable stains or worse, unavailable (even with a booking). Our specialisation in baby gear means that your child’s car seat will be modern, safe, comfortable, immaculately clean, and delivered to your doorstep or to the doorstep of your car rental company. We have a healthy relationship with numerous car rental companies who appreciate our service.
6. DO YOU INSTALL CAR SEATS?
Currently we do not install car seats, however all of our car seats come with an easy to use manual.
7. HOW IS THE EQUIPMENT CLEANED?
At Petite Passengers Baby Equipment Rentals we understand parents’ concerns when selecting quality and hygienic products for their child. Hotel and car rental companies sometimes offer the convenience of supplying complimentary cribs and car seats, however they often lack the quality and cleanliness that your baby deserves. Petite Passengers has an exceptionally high standard of hygiene as we have specifically purchased high-end products that are easily cleaned and maintained. We are also an environmentally conscientious company and strongly believe in ‘living green’. As such, after each use, all of our products are steamed-cleaned and sanitized with non-toxic Seventh Generation cleaning products.
